WCPL Circulation Assistant

Brenda has been employed as a circulation assistant for the Washington County Public Library in Springfield, KY since May 1, 2017.

She is a lifelong resident of Washington County, growing up on a dairy farm in the Manton area. Brenda has lived and worked on a farm all her life. She is a member of St. Rose Catholic church, a Lector and teaches fourth grade CCD.

Brenda is married to Mike Mackin. Between them, they have seven children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Working at the Library gives Brenda the opportunity to interact with and support the Library’s patrons, staff, and serves to broaden her knowledge of the inner workings of the Library.

Brenda enjoys outdoor life, caring for her animals, spending time with family, gardening, planting flowers, good movies, short stories, and non-fiction books. She enjoys her life and is grateful for every day.
