Ione Pinkston serves as the Children’s Librarian at the Washington County Public Library. She is known in the library as "Ms. Ione". She started working at WCPL in July of 1988 as the part-time bookmobile librarian and part-time Children's Librarian. Ms. Ione loves her job and looks forward to seeing her children at "Tales for Tots" and “Laugh & Learn Storytime" each week. Her favorite children's author is Eric Carle. When reading adult books, Ms. Ione likes mysteries, especially those by Mary Higgins Clark, Stuart Woods, Colleen Coble, Karin Slaughter, Kathy Reichs, Sue Grafton, Karen Robards….
