WCPL Fall Festival
The library invites you to the WCPL Fall Festival on Friday, October 23rd!
Find games, a costume contest, pumpkin and gourd decorating contest, crafts, a food truck, and more. This event will be held from 2-7 PM on Friday, October 23rd at the Washington County Public Library. This is a family event, with fun for all ages! There will be a library card and Imagination Library sign-up station open all afternoon at the front desk with staff available to assist your family.
Once you enter the library lobby, you will check-in your family and receive a rubber duck as a game token for each child. Next you can stop by the library card and Imagination Library sign-up desk and then you will tour the spooky pirate room. Then you will have the option to complete crafts, play games, decorate a pumpkin for the contest, and take a picture at the photo booth! Be sure to stick around until the end of the night for the costume contest!
Pumpkin or Gourd Decorating: You may bring your own decorated pumpkin or gourd (must not be cut or carved.) Pumpkins will be provided by the library on first come, first serve basis. Age groups will be 5 years old and under, 6 years old and up, and 12 years old and older.
Costume Contest: Prizes will be awarded for 3 categories. The Scariest Costume, Captures the Character, and Most Creative.
